The Preventive Maintenance Program is designed to give regular care for your printer. Paper dust and abrasive toner can reduce print quality and cause paper jams as well as excessive wear on gears. Preventive maintenance is recommended every six months or 10,000 pages for personal and small workgroup printers. For high-volume and medium to large network printing environments, preventive maintenance is recommended every 90 days to ensure optimal printer performance. All printers are inspected for worn parts, cleaned internally and externally, lubricated and thoroughly tested.
