Policies and Procedures

Service Calls®

When placing a service call to PRINTEX, INC. a representative will require detailed information about the specified equipment such as service location, contact information, equipment manufacturer, model number, and a comprehensive failure description. This information assists PRINTEX, INC. to service customers in a time efficient manner. A representative will confirm a time a technician will be arriving on-site.

Parts

All parts installed by PRINTEX, INC. are new or equivalent to new. All maintenance kits installed by PRINTEX, INC. meet or exceed the extent of parts provided by the original manufacture’s kits. All defective parts become property of PRINTEX, INC.

Pricing

All PRINTEX, INC. on-site pricing is flat rate. Additional charges may apply if a printer needs to be removed off-site for extensive repair or additional maintenance. Customer will be notified before any such work is performed and will only be performed with customer approval.

Obligations of PRINTEX, INC.

PRINTEX, INC. will reasonably comply with all rules and regulations in effect at the Customer site.

PRINTEX, INC will provide Workers Compensation and Comprehensive Automobile and General Liability Insurance. Certificates of Insurance will be provided upon request.

General Terms and Conditions

Invoices and Payment

PRINTEX, INC. accepts C.O.D terms, American Express, Master Card, Visa. Credit terms are available to qualified customers. All local customers must provide a tax exemption certificate or will be accessed with state tax. A 2.0% charge will be charged on all past due balances.

Response Time

PRINTEX, INC. will make every effort to provide 24hr service but cannot be responsible for inclement weather; service vehicle breakdowns or any other circumstances that maybe out of our control, including Acts of God or force majeur.

Obligations of PRINTEX, INC.

PRINTEX, INC. will reasonably comply with all rules and regulations in effect at the Customer site.

PRINTEX, INC will provide Workers Compensation and Comprehensive Automobile and General Liability Insurance. Certificates of Insurance will be provided upon request.

Warranty Statement

This limited warranty entitles you to standard warranty services for the specified equipment, against defects in workmanship and parts on service(s) performed for a period of six months on printers from the date of service. PRINTEX, INC. does not warranty nor will be responsible for any or all software stored on hard disk drive. PRINTEX, INC. does not warranty merchantability and does not warranty fitness for a particular purpose.

Exclusions

The warranty on your printer shall not apply to defects resulting from:

Improper or inadequate maintenance by customer.

bullet

Unsupported modification or misuse.

bullet

Operation outside of the environmental specifications for the products.

bullet

Operation of non-supported printing media.

bullet

Duty cycle abuse.

bullet

Using a mechanical switchbox with the printer without a designated surge protector.

bullet

Improper site preparation and maintenance.

bullet

Failure to perform key operator maintenance.

bullet

Use of recycled toner cartridges, non-OEM memory boards, or non-OEM interface boards.
